USDA Awards $356 Million in Electric Loans |

Washington, DC - Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today said that 16 rural utilities and cooperatives in 10 states have been selected to receive $356 million in loans to build and repair 3,830 miles of distribution and transmission lines and make system improvements that will affect more than 45,000 rural customers. |

Washington, DC - The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) will release new 10-year agricultural projections Feb. 12 at 12:00 noon EST. "USDA Agricultural Projections to 2018" will be released on the Office of the Chief Economist Web site. USDA publishes the projections each year in February. |
