NCGA Public Policy Director Jessica Johnson Bennett to Handle Ethanol, Energy Issues PDF Print E-mail

Jessica Johnson Bennett Washington, DC - The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) is pleased to announce that Jessica Johnson Bennett has joined its Washington, D.C., office as director of public policy. She will be managing ethanol, energy and climate change issues.

“Jessica brings a well rounded and diverse background to NCGA,” Jon Doggett, vice president of public policy, said. “She has experience on Capitol Hill, in agriculture and as a trade association lobbyist. We look forward to having her as part of our team.”

During the past eight years, Bennett has worked for various trade associations, including the American Farm Bureau Federation where she served in the Public Policy Department. She has considerable experience managing legislative and regulatory activities and is especially well versed in agriculture and energy-related issues. Bennett is a graduate of Arkansas State University with a degree in Political Science and Public Relations. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University in Social and Public Policy.
